GrizzlyStik is never satisfied. They are constantly tweaking and improving their already superior products. That includes their acclaimed Silver Flame 2-blade broadheads. Now with the REDLINE series, GrizzlyStik has delivered that same high quality at a lower, more affordable price. The original S...ilver Flame broadheads are known for their ability to put big game down fast. They've taken everything from whitetails to elephants. To lower the price of these amazing broadheads, GrizzlyStik looked at a different type of quality steel that would still retain a sharp edge and be effective on big game. GrizzlyStik engineers decided that AUS-4 stainless steel was the best option to lower the price and retain quality. Using a proprietary heat treating process, GrizzlyStik has optimized the AUS-4 stainless steel to a Rockwell of 54 - 55. This maintains durability and edge retention. The main blade features a cut-on-contact convex design to offer the most efficient cutting edge and to put more steel up front where it is needed for strength. Designed to fit all carbon and aluminum arrows as they have an industry standard 8-32 thread. This is the same thread used by all arrow inserts (except Easton Deep Six). All Redline broadheads feature a smooth transition, low profile ferrule with a .334" diameter and stainless steel hex screws. Silver Flame Redline broadheads are hunting sharp, right out of the package. They're ready for any challenge you throw at them... or throw them at! Stone cold killer in RED!!
Used the 125xl for deer hunting in Illinois in October. Pass thru almost length ways. Entered inside front shoulder and exited the last 3 ribs. Blood trail was truly a path of red and recovered less than 30 yards. Only shot them out to 50 yards but accuracy was not a problem.
Not what I was expecting
Bought the 125 grain heads and they were sharp out of the package but I had to hit them all with the leather strip to make them shave hair. Weighed them all and one was 130, another was 123 and another was 127. For the price I would expect a little more consistency when my dad and another friend bought $15 broadheads that could shave hair out of the package and all weighed the exact… read more same.
