GrizzlyStik engineers decided that AUS-4 stainless steel was the best option to lower the price and retain quality. Using a proprietary heat treating process, GrizzlyStik has optimized the AUS-4 stainless steel to a Rockwell of 54 - 55. This maintains durability and edge retention. The main blade features a cut-on-contact convex design to offer the most efficient cutting edge and to put more steel up front where it is needed for strength. Designed to fit all carbon and aluminum arrows as they have an industry standard 8-32 thread. This is the same thread used by all arrow inserts (except Easton Deep Six). All Redline broadheads feature a smooth transition, low profile ferrule with a .334" diameter and stainless steel hex screws.
