Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±1-2 pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 30# @ 28" bow is roughly a 28# @ 27". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard. Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).

Couldn't be happier with the quality
Got this for my five year old daughter. What a joy it is to watch her shoot. She loves the look and feel of the bow and most important it's a real bow just like Daddy's. I couldn't be happier. It worth every bit of the price. This will be passed down to her sister and brother when she grows out of it and surely kept long after. This is not just a bow to learn on but an heirloom.… read more Thank you!!
Beautiful bow
My 5 yo daughter bout this bow after saving for months she loves it and it fits her perfectly
Glad this is still being done!
teaching 5 year old archery like MY dad taught me
Like it
The bow is terrific
For my kids I did 26" arrows and found them to be more than long enough. My oldest is 13 now and still not drawing the full length of the arrow.
Yes , that is correct , right hand bow is held in the left hand and drawn with the right hand .
Yes these are made in the USA and they have great quality and workmanship.
Yes we can set the nocking point on the bow before it ships out. If you choose the 48 inch bow then a 26 inch draw would not damage the bow.
The Squirt is 10-12# @ 16" draw The Standard model is 20-22# @ 24" I would recommend the Squirt up to 6 years old personally (my daughter shoots it). After that, the standard model is better as they will grow into the bow.
They are referring to the hand you draw the bow with. If you are right handed then yo will you want to select a right handed bow.
Barbara, It is the side you draw with. If you are right handed you will hold the bow with your left hand and draw with your right hand and opposite for left handed. Ted
If the shooter is right handed, the bow is held in the left hand. Similarly, if the shooter is left handed, the bow is held in the right hand.
It is what hand you draw with. But it has nothing to do if you are right or left handed, but which eye is dominant.
I recommend the wooden youth arrows, 4292x.
