Great for bow limbs.two thin coats looks really nice
I have used tru oil on bow limbs to seal snake skins , are the grips plastic ? I'm not sure if this product will attack plastic . It will take several coats to smooth it out but I would defiantly try it on a practice piece to make sure it won't damage the grips .
This product is a great finish for a longbow , I have not used the other product so I can't leave a comparison .
I have not used this yet. As far as thinning it down, the label on this says you can thin it up to 20% using Thunderbird slow drying laquer thinner and do not use mineral spirits or alcohol.
The thinner is under the part number 6651X.
This would be only one can. You have to select the gloss finish, the satin finish, or the thinner.
This finish is meant to be sprayed on.
It is sold as the lacquer and they offer a thinner as well
This will not at that much weight to the wood. You can use this with the gasket dip system.
This will not add that much weight to the finished arrows. You can use this with the gasket system.
It will come with both.
These are sold by the quart.
I would prefer a larger tip, but it's really just a personal preference.
