Go Rogue with some of the best engineered Flemish twist bow strings in the industry. The staff at Rogue Bowstrings design and craft every high performance string as if it is being made for championship shooters. Using 18 strands of Spectra material with .024" Halo center serving, Rogue Bowstrings... builds these strings for performance, durability, and quality. Spectra is the same material previously known as FastFlight® (by Brownell). These bow strings are hand twisted using black and tan material, and they are pre-stretched to at least 100 lbs of tension per ATA specs, ensuring the perfect fit for your longbow or recurve bow. Note: Order by string length not bow length. Available in Longbow model (54" to 68" in one inch increments), and Recurve model (44" to 68" in one inch increments). Please specify. Measure the bow string you have and round up to the nearest full inch. If you don't know the length of your bow string a good rule of thumb is that a longbow will take a string 3" shorter than they are marked and a recurve takes a 4" shorter bow string. So, if your bow is a recurve and is marked AMO 60", a 56" bow string should fit. NOTE: High Performance string material is not recommended for all bows. Please check with your bow's manufacturer to see if your bow is rated for low stretch, high performance bow strings. For older bows, or ones you cannot confirm are compatible, we recommend Dacron (B-55) string material. Flemish strings are made of several strands of string material twisted upon themselves. It is possible for the area by the string loops to appear to be fraying. This is common and is not damaging to the string. To remove the fraying rub your hand on the strands to lay them down. The wax in the string will hold the strands down, but may disappear after some use. You can trim the fraying strands, but this is not recommended. If the wax is not holding the stands down, you can apply some String Makers Wax to the area.

As good of string as you will find !
I don't have patience or time to make my own strings . Use these strings on both my longbows and recurves . Have tried other brands and home woven makers to save a couple dollars in the end it was not worth it . IMO excellent strings . I 'am a hunter not a competition archer so can't speak from that aspect of the game .
Backup
Bought as a backup for my 45# 62" Samick Sage. Setup exactly like my Browning FF+Flemish 18 strand already on bow. Swapped out during shooting sessions and arrow flight, POI is exactly the same. Always good to have a backup string when hunting to just swap out and keep hunting just incase of a failure.
Really happy with this string
High quality
Great quality.
Glad I was referred to this company. They helped me make sure I was getting the right size and I am impressed with the quality.
Would buy again.
Use Rogue strings for all my bows. Longbows and recurves. They make a great quality string and I will buy more. Use them for target and hunting.
Buy it!
It turned my 50 pound longbow into a rocket launcher haha its fast flight so noise comes with the territory. I solved this by adding otter fur silencers from standing wolf. I also use 450 to 550 grain arrows. If your worried about adding weight to your string with silencers, don't be scurred! This string is a powerhouse
The best bow string, hands down!
This is the best bow string I have ever used, it will be the only string I purchase for my longbows and recurves.
Will buy more.
Using it for targets until hunting season starts. Noticed a big improvement in my longbow's performance. Well made Flemish, great job on serving. Rogue strings are the only strings that are going on all my bows from here on out.
I liked the first string so much I bought another.
I took this down time from all the tournament cancellations to retune my gear. I shoot a 40# Black Douglas traditional recurve. I bought four different strings and tested them. I am very impressed with this string, wish I found it years ago. It has two more strands then my previous fastflight string and my point on stayed the same at about 55 yds. It is also quieter than the other… read more strings. I use 50% less string silencers then before and am happy with the sound of the bow, it has more of a thunk sound not a twang and the limbs don't hum like a tuning fork. The size is perfect and I have only twisted it a few times to maintain brace height, it doesn't stretch like other strings. I just shot the state field, and was very happy with how it performed. Unless something changes this is now my go to string.
My 2nd String
This string came with the Samick Discovery I purchased from 3 rivers. I have been shooting the bow and string about 1 month. Great quality and performance. I have just ordered a 2nd string.
Yes this string will work on the Montana. This is a great bowstring made with Spectra bowstring and Halo serving. This is a great upgrade to the stock string that came with your bow.
On longbow the string would be 3" shorter then AMO you will need a 65" string for that bow.
Just comes in black and tan.

I'm afraid without having the bow to set the nock point it would be off from the start. Sorry.
For most longbows it is a 3" less for string length. It will depend on the age of the bow though, as older Martin bows varied from the norm to be 4" less for longbows. You should be able to use any high performance string material as well.
Yes the X nocks will work with the Rogue string .
I would recommend a Rogue string https://www.3riversarchery.com/rogue-spectra-flemish-twist-bow-string.html or a DAS Lazer string https://www.3riversarchery.com/das-lazer-bow-string , both would work fine for you .
That should make a 60" bow so you will need a 56" string .
Id go with the medium size and the nocks should fit the string well.
The only difference would be the size of the loops the recurve string typically have a larger loop than the Longbow strings.
