These help stabalize arrows in flight.
I purchased the helical clamp for Bitzenburger Dial-O-Fletch Fletching Jig. For decades, I've used the straight clamp with great success. The helical clamp is a bit more stabilizing.
I would buy this product again
The Bitzenburger came with a right feather clamp, so I was adding a left feather clamp. Would definitely prefer the Bitzenburger to others I have used in the past.
Straight Clamp
Nothing better than Bitzenburger
"A trusted work horse"
I've been fletching my own arrows for over 25 years and I've used 3 different jigs over that span of time. My experience with the Blitzbuger jig has been very good and when I combined the left wing and the fletching tape I cut my fletching time by 2/3's . Now I spend less time fletching and more time on the range.
These are great
These clamps work great. Make sure to get the matching indexer if you have traditional wooden arrows that the nocks are glued on and unmovable. The jig takes almost nothing to set up for the different clamps. Just loosen the knobs and offset the angle or set it straight depending on what clamp your using.
Indexer confusion
Those who think you need to buy an indexer when switching from left to right wing are mislead. You only need this if you glue your nocks on first. I never glue nocks on, so the indexer is a waste of money. It is not needed if you know to glue your nocks on last. You can then position them correctly after your fletching is on.
Nice addition to my Left-hand jig
I have had a left-hand Bitzenburger for years and love it. I was asked by a young man for help building wooden cross-bow bolts/quarrels. I bought this straight clamp special for the job. It worked perfect for my application. He now has 24 fletched shafts for use at SCA target archery events.
They work
About as good as they get. Simple, solid and reliable.
BITZENBERGER
I recently purchased a left helical clamp for my bitzenberger. Took 3 minites to set up proper helical for my and my sons Easton HMG 500 arrows. I showed my son how to wrap and fletch the first 5 arrows. The next 13 arrows turned out like he had done it a 100 times. BITZENBERGER "SIMPLY THE BEST"
I would buy this product again and again
Good quality

The replacement clamp for Bitzenburger Dial-O-Fletch can be used on up to 5" fletchings. Hope this helps.
I'm not familiar with the Cartel Jig, so I can't say for sure if it would work.
I have only used the Bitzenburger jig and clamps. The magnets for the Bitzenburger are on the jig not the clamp. The Bitzenburger clamp may not line up with jig , magnet or arrow on the Cartel Jig. I have been very pleased with the Bitzenburger. Hope this helps Gary
Left wing clamp would you left wing feathers.
You should use a left helical clamp for LW fletchings Brian LaChance
Use the matching clamp if you are using Left Wing fletches then was the left helical clamp remember if using a blizenberger make sure you set it up for left wing fletches. Christopher J. Pantzke SGT, US Army, RET
Yes, they will have a helical to them.
The Bitzenberger clamps fit perfect on the BPE Pro jig.
