It is a cotton/polyester blend. It doesn't have any care instructions written on it or attached papers. I would say yes it is washable, but I would hand wash it.

I just ordered this hat in a medium, it's a hair to big. I see that you don't have small listed. Will small eventually be back in stock or is small not an option?

Does this hat's get in the way of the bow string as you pull to anchor? If, so is it flexible enough to move and not effect your shot?

No this hat is stiff. You can bend it to keep it out of the way and it stays there but it does not move on its own.Other than that the hat is great. I also bought a felt hat (Like Indiana Jones) and that bends perfectly I hope this helps Ron.
