The Gold Tip Kinetic Pierce carbon shafting features an Ultra-micro diameter that maximizes penetration and gives a decisive advantage in accuracy. Gold Tip Kinetic Pierce shafts have been utilizing a new system with a half outsert instead of an insert. This allows the use of a standard 5/16" targ...et point or broadhead with the benefit of deeper penetration from the less friction applied as the smaller diameter goes through the larger hole. Pinpoint accuracy is easier to achieve with the closer to centershot and minimized impact of wind drift due to ultra-micro diameter. Reinforce the point end with the included ballistic collars for incredible durability on hard hitting impacts. Collars weigh approximately 23 grains each, and slide over the outserts, so you install them between outsert and point, so we cannot do it. The ballistic collars add 1" to the overall length of the shaft. The Kinetic Pierce are lightweight for shooting further distances with moderate draw weight bows, including recurve, longbow, or compound bow. There has never been a better carbon arrow for the bowhunter or target archer. You will find the durability and performance of these Gold Tip arrows to be unbeatable. With the Gold Tip name, you know you can count on them for the toughness and performance that is expected. Includes GTO nocks, half-out inserts, and ballistic collars. Sold by the dozen. Available in 500, 400, 340, 300, and 250 spines. Please specify. Great arrow
Been practicing with these arrows. Seem to shoot really good for me. Have not had a chance to hunt with them yet but I don't not for see any issues with them performing well.
Good arrows bad service
great shafts but the outserts and collars are weak
Very nice arrow
I just got these arrows and they allow me to shoot a 9 gpp out of my 45# recurve. The outsert/collar system if very nice and makes for a tough arrow that uses easy to find 5/16 points and the micro diamter shaft I expect to penetrate very well. I am also at 20% FOC which is nice for the poundage I shoot.
It may be better to replace the string (if it is older and worn down) or reserve the string with new thicker serving. Other nocks that fit these arrows are: https://www.3riversarchery.com/easton-g-push-in-arrow-nocks-large-groove.html and https://www.3riversarchery.com/black-eagle-micro-nocks.html though.
The half out insert sticks partially out from end of arrow and the ballistic collar covers what sticks out of arrow and covers part of the shaft for strength.

These will come with (3) 5" Shield LW feathers. The cock feather will be traditional barred.
We recommend at least 1" longer arrow length vs draw length for safety. If you are tuning the arrow you will not necessarily have a set length just where it shoots the best.
We measure from valley on nock to end of shaft.
All arrows will be measured from valley of nock to the cut, regardless of insert/outset type
The arrow outsert is about 3/8s of an inch. I would just cut them 30in it is easier to tune an arrow that is to long as to one that is shorter.
Yes if you give us the previous spine number we can get you matched up.
I would recommend the 400 spine for that set up.
I would go with the 340 spine (with a draw length of 28") or a 300 spine (with a draw length of 29"or more)
