Gateway Feathers are quality 100% natural turkey feather fletchings for your arrows. Feather fletchings are better than plastic vane fletchings because they are lighter in weight and tune easier. Making for flatter trajectories and increased speed. Not to mention they're attractive as well. These ...shield cut turkey feathers are available in a variety of vibrant camo colors, to give your feathers a colorful look (see full list of options in the drop down menu). They come in 5" or 4" lengths in left wing or right wing. Sold by the dozen. Shield cut in 5" is the single most popular feather length and cut in traditional archery. Shield cut has slightly more surface area compared to parabolic cut, which will make arrows fletched with shield feathers a touch more stable in flight than those fletched with parabolic cut feathers. Going with a 4" fletch offers less guidance in-flight, but is easier for shooting further distances with a flatter trajectory. What Wing Feather to Shoot? It is an old belief that a Right handed (RH) shooter must shoot Left wing (LW) so the arrow spins away from the riser on release. This is not the case. An arrow only starts spinning once it is several feet in front of the bow, so feel free to shoot Left or Right wing.

The tre orange/red would probably be the most visible in my experience using and missing targets. All in all, excellent quality fletching!
