Ordered all the gear to get into bowfishing. Was excited about going out the next day for the first time ever bowfishing. Tried things out in the back yard. At the 5th shot the reel would not retrieve. Just made clicking and grinding noises. I did NOT do anything wrong. Disappointed. Returned to 3 Rivers. Later read reviews and saw that about half the people had the same or… read more similar problems after not many shots. If you look at the parts diagram the interior is super complex and too many things to go wrong, which they do. Do not buy.
They come pre-spooled with approximately 75 yards of line.
The reel mount is sold separately.
As long as you have the reel mount and the bow has a stabilizer bushing then yes you can use this with a recurve.
