Excellent, best fletcher I have owned!
Super easy to set-up and use. I have the left hand version and use it for 5" turkey feathers, works fantastic and the dial for 120deg offset is super easy as well. I have had three different inexpensive fletchers and finally spent the money and so happy I did. Love it!
Great Fletching Jig - Built to last
This is the best fletching jig I have used. It will last for a very long time. I highly recommend!
Tried and true
As long as you are not in a hurry, or do not try to fletch with extreme helical, this jig is perfect. Once it is set up correctly, your fletchings should be perfect. This jig is unchanged since the '60's so that tells you something.
Yes I would purchase this item again
Well so far I've only reflecthed one arrow ,so with more practice I'll perfect it, but the feathers are still holding good after many many shots.
Good build
Very good construction
Amazing jig!
I'm a competitive archer but this is the first time I tried fletching myself. This jig is amazingly simple, repeatable and accurate for any level.
I'd try a different type.
Admittedly, I've an older model so perhaps newer models have addressed some of the issues described. Magnet is overkill and make placement adjustment difficult. Post-clamp placement is always required. Post-clamp removal adjustment of the feather is always required. For the cost and quality construction, it always leaves me thinking there has to be a better way.
Great fletcher
Once I figured out to adjust the nock to the foreward most part of the helical feather. Then I was able to dial it to the correct spot on the shaft to match exactly where the damaged feather came off.
Great tool
Very helpful and easy to use. Don't think ill ever buy prefletched arrows again.
Best fletching device ever made
Best fletching machine ever used' I Make Hunting Arrows' and Target.
For proper nock alignment matching indexer should be used.
The Jig is the base so you need the straight clamp and can offset with the dials from there. You can use LW or RW in the straight clamp
When you use right, left,or straight fletching clamp you use the corresponding indexer.
For proper nock alignment matching indexer should be used.
I fletch 5mm Axis arrows all the time in my Bitzenburger.
A 1/2" shaft would be too large for this jig.
That is correct.
You can use either LW, RW, or straight. I use a RW jig and feathers. RW feathers work better in the straight clamp versus the LW.
Yes, the clamps can be changed easily for switching to different helical fletches. Bitzenburger also recommends using the matching indexer with you clamp.
Yes we do offer the clamp only 4169X
This is correct. The knobs will adjust your offset to what degree you would prefer.
